SABCOHA partners with local and international organisations to lobby and assist companies in managing HIV/AIDS in the workplace and to monitor international best practice. It also commissions the Bureau for Economic Research (BER) to conduct an annual survey of the epidemic's impact on business in South Africa.

SABCOHA’s strategy is to implement projects, and seek additional areas of co-operation with organisations such as the AIDC, InWEnt, and the IESC, as well as seek other partners with whom projects can be developed.
