Interim representative sought for Free State Provincial AIDS Council
The Free State Provincial AIDS Council (PAC) has invited SABCOHA, in collaboration with BUSA, to nominate a business representative to serve on this multi-sectoral Council. Provincial AIDS Councils, chaired by Premiers and coordinated by Departments of Health, generally meet quarterly.

SABCOHA has embarked on a strategy to establish provincial branches through which such representation shall be identified going forward. As this stage:

  • The Northern Cape SABCOHA Branch is officially established. 
  • A project has been initiated to establish a SABCOHA Branch in the Western Cape.
  • Private Sector funding is being sought to establish a SABCOHA Branch in Mpumalanga Province.  

In the absence of a SABCOHA Free State Branch an interim business representative is sought. SABCOHA is calling on its members with significant business operations in the Free State Province to assist in identifying a suitable person/persons.

Members are further invited to designate representatives to participate in the Western Cape branch establishment.
