Vikashnee Harbhajan is the Director: Social Policy at BUSA and her portfolio includes HIV and AIDS. She has a Masters degree in Law which includes a Medical Law and Bio-ethics component.

Ms Harbhajan completed a paper on the nevirapine issue between the Minister of Health and the Treatment Action Campaign before the matter was finalised in the Constitutional Court as part of her studies. She is also an admitted attorney and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa.
