Bongani Khumalo Bongani Khumalo has an MA from Fairfield University, Connecticut, a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management College in the UK and an honorary doctorate of Administration from the University of Fort Hare. He serves on Unisa’s council and is chair of its Graduate School of Business Leadership. He is also chairman of the University of Stellenbosch African Centre for HIV/AIDS management. Khumalo has a wealth of business experience and has played a key role in restructuring and transformation. He is currently CEO of national lottery operator Gidani. Khumalo was former deputy Eskom CEO, executive chairman of Fox Publishing and chairman of Transnet. He has also acted as a special advisor in the Presidency. He is also MD of JHI Real Estate and holds several other key positions in business: he is chairman of Grey Global SA and publisher of AboveBoard magazine, which focuses on governance in business. He is also a director of several corporates including Anglo Platinum, Electronic Data Systems, and is chair of MaAfrika Tikkun, a community development organisation that supports families living with HIV/AIDS.
